Shawnee Peak Night Sky

Stopped on my way back from North Conway the other night and took a few photos of Shawnee Peak in Bridgton, Maine.  No moon out so the stars were very visible.   Never disappointed stopping to take photos here.  As always hoping to get out and take more long exposures in the near future.  Something peaceful about taking landscape photos at night.  Never quite know what you're going to get until you take the first exposure and then its changing position of the camera or the exposure to make it brighter or darker.  Most of these types of exposures are 30" long, but once you get the handful of photos back home its usually worth the wait.
