Some Brewing Company - Whoopie Pie Stout

This past weekend I went to the market up the road from where I live and I noticed many local New England craft beers.  By the suggestion of my girlfriend, I decided to pick up some (excuse the pun) and try a beer I had never had before.  I don't really consider myself a beer connoisseur, but I figured it'b be fun to try a new beer every now and again and give my thoughts. 

For the first beer I chose a Stout from Some Brewing Company in York, Maine.  The cans design caught my eye and then I noticed the flavor and had to try it.  The beer was called Whoopie Pie Stout.  I kind of expected to taste a whoopie pie upon first sip, but it was definitely a beer and definitely a stout.  There was a faint hint of cocoa and maybe some vanilla, but it wasn't overpowering.  I would be interested in trying another of their beers some day.  All and all not bad at all.
