Trickey Pond

Trickey Pond is a 315 acre pond located in Naples, Maine.  It is believed to be fed largely from underground springs, which would help explain why the water is so clear.  Trickey is one of my favorite bodies of water in the Lakes Region of Maine.  Below are a couple photos I took early morning from a boat launch/swimming area on the far end of the pond.  There is a tree an old downed tree washed ashore on the beach.  At the bottom of the second picture you can see how clear the water is.  You can find more information about Trickey Pond here.
