Simonton Cove

It's not often I go to Portland these days, but today I ventured out that way and spent a few hours in the area.  Technically most of the photos below are actually across from Portland in South Portland, but that's close enough.  I first went to my old College Campus which is located at Fort Preble right on the ocean.  It's hard to beat the views of Simonton Cove from Fort Preble.  There was a bit of a fog on the water, which I think made the ocean look kind of like something from a Pirates Of The Caribbean movie.  

People can be seen enjoying the sun on Willard Beach in the photo below.  Above boats can be seen in Simonton Cove with a somewhat heavy fog in the distance.  

Below is a photo I took from Munjoy Hill on the East End in Portland, Maine.  I've always found this winding road interesting to look at from atop the hill.
