Sebago Cove

I hope everyone has been enjoying their Labor Day weekend.  I took the extra day off to get outside a little bit.  I failed to get up and out the door in time for sunrise this morning, but I did get to Sebago Cove and took a few photos. Shortly after I arrived and got out of my truck the subtle rumble of Jet Skis were ever present.  I saw four or five go under the bridge connecting Sebago Cove to Sebago Lake.  I couldn't help but envy them and the amount of fun to be had on a Jet Ski on Sebago Lake, especially on a hot day like today.   Within moments they were gone and the lake was still.

Below are a couple of photos I took of Sebago Cove this morning as well as a stick I found on a path that had duck tape on it that said Happy.  It kind of made me think a bit and put things into perspective.   I'm often too hard on myself for not having the amount of free time that I wish I had, or at least not managing it better.  Being outside alone in the woods or by a lake or pond,  I feel the most relaxed I have felt in longer than I care to remember.  I think it's important to put time aside every week, if not every day, to do something that helps you find a peace of mind, breath, and find balance in life.  If you're not happy in life then what's the point.
