Fall Adventures

I tend to keep a camera on me when possible now days when I’m out and about. Obviously everyone has a phone on them most of the time which has a camera, but I like to bring my camera bag with me and if possible tripod. When I do this I find myself pulling off the side of the road more often and exploring places that I otherwise would just drive by. Below are a few photos I took on my many drives this fall.

The first photo I took on a long dirt road which led to some wide open fields.

Below is a photo I took at Stevens Brook in Bridgton, Maine. The falls there are pretty interesting and I decided to grab my tripod and camera one afternoon and take some long exposures.

The next image was one that I took in Greenwood, Maine. I was on my way home and didn’t intend to stop, but noticed flowing water and what looked like a little waterfall off the side of the road. I hiked through the woods a little bit and snapped this photo. This is a place I intend on returning to when I am better prepared. Greenwood is a very interesting area and it is where L.L Bean is from.

Below is a photo I at Bear Pond in Waterford, Maine. It was lightly raining out and very overcast. I think it will be fun to visit this location throughout the changing of the seasons and see what the pond looks like as it freezes over.
