On the Ice

Sometimes it feels like there isn’t a whole lot to do outside during winter in New England. The lakes and ponds are a big attraction during the warmer months for people to swim, boat, and fish in and they’re also a big attraction during the colder months too. Chances are if you drive past a lake or pond in January or February in Maine there will be vehicles lined up along the roadside and people out on the ice fishing. Below are a few photos I took at Island pond in Harrison, Maine and Keoka Lake in Waterford, Maine.
