Ocean to Lakes

I’ve always found sudden changes in weather kind of fascinating. Especially during the summer when it will be a warm nice sunny day and all of a sudden dark clouds roll in and it will pour for maybe 20 minutes and then sunshine and warm weather again. The other day I was down in Biddeford doing a shoot and as I was leaving all of a sudden the weather began to change. There was a severe thunderstorm warning on my phone. I drove from Biddeford, Pool to Pine Point in Scarborough, Maine and pulled over across from Ferry Beach and watch the rain come down and the lighting striking in the distance. once it started to let up a little I made my way back up North and pulled over as I passed Sebago Lake/Sebago Cove in Naples, Maine. I took a few photos of the beginning to set over the trees. A stark difference between the scenes I was seeing a half hour before in Scarborough.

Below are two photos taken at Pine Point in Scarborough, Maine.
