Grafton Notch State Park - Newry, Maine

Grafton Notch State Park is located in Western Maine closer to Northern New Hampshire. There are a few spots to pull off and hike or to picnic and cool off by the water in Grafton Notch. Below are some photos I took the other day by Bear River in Grafton Notch.

Below is a faded carved heart with initials into a birch tree off a trail in Grafton Notch. Makes me wonder how long it’s been there.
