Views From Hawk Mountain - Waterford, Maine

The weather in New England has been pretty great so far this month. It has rained a bit, but we needed it since it didn’t rain much else at the beginning of the summer. I joined my cousin, his wife and their dog for a quick hike up Hawk Mountain in Waterford, Maine the other day. I brought my camera along with me and took a few photos from the top. The views are pretty great from Hawk Mountain, especially for such a reasonably short hike. When you reach the top and main outlook you are greeted by Pleasant Mountain / Shawnee Peak directly across from you which is located in Bridgton, Maine. To the left you can see Long Lake which goes from Harrison to Bridgton and Naples, Maine. Further left from Long Lake is Crystal Lake also located in Harrison, Maine.
