Late Summer - Early Fall

Late summer is always a bitter sweet time of year for me. The weather starts changing and giving hints of what’s to come later in the year. Spring and Fall have always been the most enjoyable times in Maine to me. The weather is usually a little more mild and everyday seems to be a slight change from the day before. One of my favorite things about fall are the crips autumn nights and the changing of the leaves. My mind immediately goes back to when I was a kid being outside all the time with friends and hearing the crunching of leaves under my feet.

Below are some photos I’ve taken over the last couple of weeks while out and about as the weather has shifted from Late Summer to Early Fall. The first three photos below were taken at Moose Pond in Bridgton, Maine from Sabatis Island.
