Maine Fern

I don’t know why exactly I’ve always thought Ferns were one of the more visually interesting plants in the woods. When I see them I think of a prehistoric scene with dinosaurs of all different sizes all around. A quick google search I found that Ferns could be found more than 360 million years ago making it one of the oldest plants found on Earth. So I guess maybe that’s why I get that prehistoric feeling whenever I come across a huge group of Ferns out in the woods.
