Peabody-Fitch Woods

Weather was too good to pass up an opportunity to take a walk at the Peabody-Fitch Woods in Bridgton today. I’ve been coming to this area for quite a few years, but in the last couple of years Loon Echo Land Trust has put a lot of work into making a trail that is easily walkable and have even added a lot of information on the lands history. Below are some of the photos I took while on my walk today.

Once you get to the back side of the loop on the far end opposite the parking lot you can either continue straight to finish the loop or go along another trail to where an old quarry resides.
