Littlejohn Island Preserve

I recently found myself in Yarmouth at Littlejohn Island and decided to check out the preserve. The parking at the Preserve is very limited. If you find yourself pulling in and none of the four spaces are available you will either have to come back later or park somewhere a ways away and walk to the preserve. Luckily for me there was only one other vehicle there when I arrived and one more pulled in shortly after I parked.

You begin the walk to the preserve trail by continuing down the dirt road about a quarter of a mile and then veering right as a trail appears. Bikes are not allowed on the trail, but there is a spot to park and lock up your bike at the trailhead. Below are some photos I took while walking around the preserve on Littlejohn Island.
