Portraits

I’ve recently been offering some mini portrait shoots for this coming fall and it made me look back at some of the shoots that I’ve done over the years and as a way to advertise that I’m doing portraits I figured it would be fun to share some.

Looking back at some of the old portrait shoots that I’ve done also made me realize how long I have been doing photography. I can still remember getting a point and shoot digital camera for graduating high school in 2008. Sadly, that camera didn’t last for too long since I accidentally left it on the roof of a car and didn’t realize until I was miles down the road and the camera smashed into many pieces. From there my love of photography grew while I was in college shortly after and I signed up for a photography course. I bought my first entry level dslr and kit lens. I remember that I came from more of a digital imaging/graphic design background and would use photoshop for editing, but my professor turned us onto using Adobe Lightroom, which I think helped me approach photography in a better way. Fast forward about 15 years and I can look back at all kinds of photography that I’ve shot and it excites me to keep pushing and creating new photos. I also recently passed my small UAG Cert which will allow me to use drones for commercial work, which is another thing that excites me about the future.
