Winter Adventures

The season of many layers is finally here! Winter can come with its challenges in New England, but it’s worth it if you’re willing to get outside and enjoy what Nature gives us. Now that the Holidays are mostly behind us (New Years is still right around the corner), I can spend more of my time getting outside with my camera adventuring.

Below are some photos I took while out with my girlfriend at Little Concord Pond in Woodstock, Maine. We slapped on our snowshoes for the first time this winter and made our way up the trail to Concord Pond and were rewarded with some pretty great peaceful views. One of the things that I love about getting out during the snowy months in Maine is how quiet it can be. When we got to the pond it was completely silent until we were on our way out and saw a mother and son having a snowball fight just off the trail. It's amazing what getting out into the woods and away from the hustle and bustle of life (especially after the holidays and how crazy packed stores are) and being able to just breathe can do for you.
