Franchise Means Local: Portraits of America's Local Franchise Owners

This past November, I had the great opportunity to work with Craft Media | Digital and the International Franchise Association (IFA) on their national campaign, “Franchise Means Local.” The mission of this project is to highlight the real people, the neighbors, and entrepreneurs who run franchises right here in our communities. We traveled across Maine to capture the stories of three local franchise owners at their locations:

  • Courtyard by Marriott | Portland, Maine

  • Dunkin’ | Norridgewock, Maine

  • Aroma Joe’s | Lewiston, Maine

I really enjoyed documenting the impact these leaders have on their local towns. You can see the portraits of the owners below, followed by a look at our process on set and some candid moments from the shoot.
