Pennesseewassee (Norway) Lake

I often drive by Norway Lake early in the morning or at sunset and see some amazing picturesque views of it, but I never happen to have my camera with me or the time to stop and take a picture. Last night I decided to go out and take a few photos. The sun had already gone down so there wasn’t an opportunity for a sunset or golden hour photo, but I was able to capture the sky and some colors behind the mountains beyond Norway Lake. Tricky thing about taking a photo from this point is the traffic going by. Having to take a long exposure and wait for cars to give a 30 second or so gap can be challenging. One of these days when I have the time I think I’ll have to get up early enough to beat the morning commuters and take some photos of the sun coming up over the lake. It looks especially awesome when there is a mist moving across the lake.
