Crooked River

After a long hiatus I’m starting to get back into the swing of taking photos again. Below are some shots I took at Crooked River in Waterford, Maine. It was a bit rainy out and it turned dark pretty quickly so I had to use a tripod and do some long exposure shots. I think in the future I’m going to do a lot more black and white landscapes. I’ll still be doing color photos as well, but I like the idea of having a cohesive black and white portfolio of different New England landscapes. Shooting black and white forces you to look at things a bit differently both when shooting and when editing.
