Night Photography - Bridgton, Maine

Some nights things seem to slow down to the point where it feels like time almost stands still. This is often a feeling I get when I am out taking photos at night. The silence and lack of people out and about other than the occasional car driving by can be peaceful. It’s a strange thing though when comparing it to other nights when it seems you can’t go anywhere to be alone or without noise and distractions. It’s almost like collectively the world just decides to stay in or go to sleep early.

Below are some photos I took recently in Bridgton, Maine. I was hoping to get some photos of the lights at Shawnee Peak, but it was very cloudy out and the mountain wasn’t lit up anyways. One thing about fog and cloudy conditions though, is that it makes the lights look a certain way and creates and interesting mood to the scene.
