Pennesseewassee Lake - Norway, Maine

I pass by lake Pennesseewassee (Norway) Lake in Norway all the time, but haven’t really stopped to take any photos of it. The other night I stopped by and took a few quick photos as it was getting dark out. I need to go back early one morning as it warms up for a sunrise shot. It’s interesting seeing the lakes this time of year because during the Summer there are people on the lake skimming across on boats or swimming and fishing. In the Winter there are tons of ice shacks and people ice fishing or snowmobiling across the lake. Early spring, when the ice and snow is melting giving way to spots of open water, there aren’t a ton of people to be found.

You can find some more information about Pennesseewassee (Norway) Lake here.
