Maple Ridge - Edes Falls

Some recent photos taken in Harrison and Naples, Maine. The first photo was taken on Maple Ridge in Harrison, Maine. Maple Ridge is a road I’m going to make it a point to go back and photograph some more. Maple Ridge has a bunch of interesting fields with some views of mountains in the background. The first photo below was taken at one of the fields that is also a little field airport. You can see a few of the planes parked by the barn near the center. The last two photos were taken on Crooked River in Edes Falls in Naples, Maine. The first photo is of an old metal bridge that goes across Crooked River. Below there were beavers working on an underwater hut and before I left a couple came across the bridge on their bikes. The last photo was taken further down Crooked River where the old remains of Edes Falls exists. There was talk about the town possibly taking down the existing structure.
