Rainy Adventures in Maine Woods
Last couple of days have been a bit rainy. Sometimes I enjoy shooting when it’s rainy or just after as the rain is ending. Shooting when it’s on the rainy side blocks out the harsh sun and puts different shadows on things. Definitely creates a different mood than that of a bright sunshiny summer day. Below are a few photos taken at Sebago Cove where Muddy River flows into Sebago Lake in Naples, Maine.
Below are some photos taken at Hold Pond Preserve. Holt Pond is located in Naples and Bridgton, Maine. Holt Pond has a few different trails that go through the woods and lead to the pond. Along the way there are many boardwalk type paths that make transversing an otherwise extremely difficult path manageable and actually enjoyable. The rain did make the boardwalk paths a bit on the slippery side, but even wearing regular flat sneakers with hardly any tread at all, it was not all that difficult.
